1. Who we are

2. Using Site Sequel

Site Sequel is offered to businesses and is intended for customers in the United States. It is not offered to consumers in the European Union or the European Economic Area. You must be at least 18 and legally able to enter a contract. If you act for a business, you confirm that you have authority to do so. By using the service, you agree to these Terms.

Site Sequel creates an automated redesign from a public website and from changes you request. You are responsible for reviewing the result before purchasing, publishing, or relying on it. Generated content may be incomplete or inaccurate.

3. Your authority and content

You confirm that you own, control, or have permission to use the website, names, text, images, logos, and other material you ask us to process. You must not use Site Sequel to impersonate others, infringe rights, deceive visitors, break the law, or create harmful or prohibited content.

You keep your rights in material you provide. You permit us and our service providers to access, copy, adapt, and process it as needed to provide and secure the service.

4. Preview rights

A preview is provided so you can evaluate the proposed website. Until full payment, Site Sequel retains all rights it may hold in the generated design and output. You may not copy, sell, distribute, or use the preview as a production website. Preview links are unlisted, not confidential; anyone with the link may be able to open them. After purchase the workspace and its delivery files can only be opened by signing in with the purchase email. The generated preview is public and shareable but kept out of search results.

5. Purchase and licence

After full payment, we grant you a perpetual, worldwide licence to use, host, copy, modify, and transfer the purchased website for your business. This licence does not override licences or rights in your own material, open-source software, fonts, stock assets, or other third-party material.

Three one-time plans are offered: Starter (up to 5 pages and 10 edits), Business (up to 10 pages and 20 edits), Complete (up to 20 pages and 50 edits). Prices, taxes, and the plan you choose are shown at checkout.

Edits are the finite lifetime pool of successful changes included with the purchased project. They have no scheduled expiry or monthly reset. Returning to use a remaining edit, publishing a demo, or downloading again does not end the allowance. Downloads do not consume edits.

Business and Complete include connecting the website to a domain you control and hosting it for 24 months from purchase. Starter includes the download and launch guide only. The hosted website is served by Vercel, our hosting provider. Hosting never renews automatically. Renewal is available on request, currently $49 per year; if you do not renew, the site on your domain goes offline and you can still download your files. A refund ends hosting straight away. Domain registration and email are not included, and we do not change your existing email or other domain records.

Every plan includes a download of the selected website version. If you host the downloaded files yourself, including on Starter or after hosting ends, they require a suitable web host. Forms, booking tools, analytics, domains, email, and other third-party services may require separate setup and accounts. You are responsible for checking these services before launch.

6. Payment and refunds

Where paid checkout is offered, payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy as merchant of record. Its buyer terms and checkout terms also apply. Taxes and the final price are shown at checkout.

You can preview a website and request changes before you pay, so please use the preview to decide whether the result is right for you.

Not happy within 14 days of purchase? Email support for a full refund; no reason needed. After 14 days, we review refund requests individually. Refunds are handled in accordance with applicable law and Lemon Squeezy’s policies. Nothing here limits mandatory consumer remedies.

If a refund is granted or a payment is reversed, the licence ends and the website we built is no longer yours to use: stop using and publishing it, take down any site built from it, and delete downloaded copies. Any hosting we provide for it also ends. This does not cover material you already owned or provided, or third-party material such as open-source software, fonts, or stock assets that you hold under a separate licence. A later purchase is a new purchase; it does not automatically restore the earlier project, its access, or its remaining edits.

A partial refund agreed with us does not end the licence.

7. Availability and third parties

We may limit, suspend, or remove previews for security, legal, capacity, payment, or rights-related reasons. The service may rely on AI, infrastructure, payment, search, content-delivery, and form providers. We are not responsible for independent third-party services or external links.

8. Liability

We are liable without limitation for intent, gross negligence, injury to life, body, or health, fraudulently concealed defects, guarantees we expressly give, and liability that cannot legally be excluded. For slight negligence involving an essential contractual duty, liability is limited to foreseeable, typical loss. Otherwise, liability is excluded to the extent permitted by law.

9. Ending use

You may stop using the service at any time. We may end or restrict access if you breach these Terms or if reasonably necessary to protect the service or others. Terms that by their nature should continue, including rights, payment, licence restrictions, and liability terms, survive.

10. Law and changes

German law applies, excluding conflict-of-law rules, without taking away protections that mandatorily apply to you. Courts in Hamburg have jurisdiction where the law permits that agreement.

We may update these Terms for future use of the service. The version shown when you purchase governs that purchase unless a change is required by law. Questions can be sent to support@sitesequel.com.
